libpython3-dbg software package provides debug build of the Python 3 Interpreter (version 3.4), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpython3-dbg
libpython3-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpython3-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpython3-dbg *
You will get with libpython3-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
